Digital accessibility:
Option 1:
Digital Accessibility Specialist Apprenticeship, level 4
Overview:
This IAAP professionally-recognised apprenticeship is an all-round specialist qualification designed to equip digital sector professionals with the skills to advise, lead and shape digital accessibility within their organisation.
Duration: 18-24 months
Cost: Fully government-funded for levy employers at £16k, and 95% government funded for non-levy employees.
Learning method: Hybrid: Mix of 1-to-1 and small group sessions with a live tutor assigned throughout, e-learning modules, work-related projects, tasks, research and practical workshops.
Suitable for:
Employees in England only.
Individuals with some existing oversight into accessibility- Web Developers, UX Managers/ developers, SEO managers, e-learning professionals. Professionals within the digital sector upskilling their knowledge into accessibility
Certification:
IAAP professionally-aligned course
Level 4 equates to a first-year University degree
Certificate from British Computer Society
Option 2:
Digital Accessibility accelerated course.
Overview:
Our accelerated 6-week program is designed to upskill professionals with a firm understanding and core knowledge to strategise next steps or to begin your accessibility journey. Finding a place to start for your journey can be difficult, this course helps to plot your organisational needs and guides you every step of the way.
Duration: 6 weeks- Typically, one full day (6 hours) per week
Cost: £1800 per person* for the full 6-week program.
*Discounted for groups of 5 or more.
Learning method:
Live session: 1-to-1 or small group sessions with a live tutor throughout hosting practical workshops
Suitable for:
Anyone new to digital accessibility
Individuals with some existing oversight into accessibility- Web Developers, UX Managers/ developers, SEO managers, e-learning professionals. Professionals within the digital sector upskilling their knowledge into accessibility
Certification:
National Upskill branded certificate of completion.
Can be used to shorten Apprenticeship program if you chose to enrol at a later stage.
Option 3:
Digital Accessibility tailored program's.
Overview:
The tailored program offers the digital accessibility learning solution you need. Choose from a selection of in-depth modules that are delivered by a live tutor providing the tips, tools and strategies you and your organisation require. Talk to us to tailor your program even more
Duration: 12 hours per module (Typically 2 full days per module)
Cost: £1800 per person for minimum course delivery of 3 modules (36 hours of tuition)
or Full delivery of 8 modules, (96 hours of tuition) £4500 per person

Live session: 1-to-1 or small group (3-5) sessions with a live tutor hosting practical workshops
Suitable for:
Anyone new to digital accessibility
Individuals with some existing oversight into accessibility- Web Developers, UX Managers/ developers, SEO managers, e-learning professionals. Professionals within the digital sector upskilling their knowledge into accessibility
Certification:
National Upskill branded certificate of completion

Option 4:
Digital Accessibility introductory intensive workshop
Overview:
Beginning your accessibility journey is often the hardest and most confusing time for many. National Upskills Intensive workshops offer a first-port-of-call to equip you with the core knowledge, terminology understanding, tips and tools to more confidentially navigate your next steps.
Duration:
Half day (3.5 hours)
Full day (6 hours)
Cost:
£300 per person, half day
£500 per person, full day
Learning method:
Live session: 1-to-1 or small group (3-5) sessions with a live tutor hosting practical workshops
Suitable for:
Anyone new to digital accessibility
Individuals with some existing oversight into accessibility- Web Developers, UX Managers/ developers, SEO managers, e-learning professionals
Professionals within the digital sector upskilling their knowledge into accessibility
Certification:
National Upskill branded certificate of completion
Can be used to shorten Apprenticeship program if chose to enrol at a later stage.

National Upskill - our approach to teaching and learning.
National Upskill use a blended learning model that combines the flexibility and convenience of online one-to-one learning, with the personal touch and engagement of face-to-face interaction and support. There are opportunities for group learning activities throughout, which all form part of an enriching learning experience.
Our delivery is integrated through the 'BUD'
e-portfolio platform which provides 24/7 access for our learners to their programme. This system provides learners, employers and tutors with a visual overview of progress, enabling everyone involved to have a clear up-to-date view of the learners journey.
The e-portfolio provides a valuable platform for the learners self-study and research tasks, at a time and place to suit the learner. When combined with work place activities including off-the-job training, work shadowing and mentoring, it all blends to support the learner in developing the skills, knowledge and behaviours required to achieve their apprenticeship.
Regular three way progress reviews between the apprentice, employer and tutor provide an opportunity to track progress, address any support needs/concerns and celebrate achievements, all while making sure everyone is working towards the apprentice's success.
